Mouldage requirements vary from the simple product that can be mass produced to a highly complex and special “one a day” product. No matter what your need in concrete products, you will require a mould.

Gang moulds are commonly used with our equipment. This allows the machinery to fill and vibrate the mould during filling, then, depending on the type of process you are using, the mould is either demoulded onto a steel pallet or it is stacked in the curing area to allow it to cure. The gang mould allows you to cast many times per day using the dry cast process or if the wet cast process is utilised, there is only one cast per mould per day.

Coote Engineering also manufactures prestressed moulds which can vary in length from a few meters up to 150m and sometimes beyond. With these types of moulds, Coote Engineering treat each newly deigned mould to strict FEA (finite element analysis) examinations prior to manufacture in order to guarantee long life and reliability.

Coote Engineering can manufacture special moulds for customers for “one off” products or specialised precast needs. Many such moulds have been manufactured as Coote Engineering has been manufacturing moulds for the precast industry since 1977.
